Knowing that about 66 percent of businesses fail by the time they reach their 10 year anniversary, Jessica’s vision is to help law firm owners avoid being a statistic by sharing her knowledge of successful financial strategies. Having serviced in a CFO role, she knows what it takes to run a successful business.
Having helped many firm owners, we saw that CONQUERing new lands with your firm has everything to do with how well you know your numbers AND knowing how to use that information.
Before starting my own business in 2018, my accounting career adventures included working in a public accounting firm, for a large publicly traded company and in both local and state governments.
Most recently, I spent over a decade working as a deputy city manager, finance director, and treasurer for the city of Evans, Colorado. During my time with the city, I tripled our cash reserves from $10M to $30M, acted as project manager for a $40M wastewater treatment plant, and managed the financials of a $12M flood recovery project.
I am also a mom of three kiddos. Our home base is in Colorado where I spend most of my free time watching our active teenage boys play sports and show their Quarter Horses – Banjo and Jake.
Rod is the firm’s Accounting Operations Manager. He joined the SPA team in 2024.
Reika is the firm’s Production Manager. She has more than 12 year’s experience in Accounting and Finance. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. Reika joined the team in 2022.
Kathy is the firm’s Senior Accountant. She has more than 14 of experience in financial planning and analysis, treasury and comptrollership. Kathy joined the team in 2024.
Raniel is one of the firm’s bookkeepers. He has more than 5 years of experience in Audit, Accounting and Finance. He joined the SPA team in 2024.
Kath is one of the firm’s bookkeepers. She has more than five years’ experience in Accounting and Finance. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and joined the team in 2023.
Rica is one of the firm’s bookkeepers. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and has more than 7 years of experience in general accounting, auditing, taxation, and compliance and joined the team in 2023.
Joyce is the firm’s Marketing Assistant. She helps manage the social media presence for Silver Peaks. Joyce joined the team in 2022.
Ryan is the firm’s Project Manager. He joined the SPA team in 2024.
Kat is the firm’s Executive Assistant. She joined the SPA team in 2024.
